OCT Bulletin: What’s Up Next?
Welcome to the Oregon Community Theatre! It’s an honor to serve as president and guide this passionate journey. As I reflect on my first year in this position, I’m proud to share some remarkable highlights from this past year. We successfully launched a new website and email system, enhancing our digital presence and improving communication with our cherished patrons.
Looking ahead, we are excited to introduce a new ticketing site that will offer a more streamlined process for purchasing tickets. Additionally, we’re updating our phone system to provide patrons with specialized responses, ensuring a more personalized and efficient experience.
As we bid adieu to this season, we welcome our 38th Season of Director’s Choice shows, themed “Enchanting Tales and Dark Delights.” We’re thrilled to welcome Maria Mohler to our family as she directs our fall musical, Once Upon a Mattress. The tone then takes a chilling turn as veteran director Kevin Harrington helms the spine-tingling production of Stephen King’s Misery in the Winter. We conclude our main stage season with Amy Spaulding-Heuring, who celebrates her 40th consecutive year of directing by bringing Into the Woods to our stage next Spring. Additionally, our Children’s Summer Theater will present the enchanting Seussical Jr., directed by Beth Giller, rounding out our season of magical storytelling.
Your unwavering support for local community theatre is deeply valued. We can’t wait to share these captivating stories with you!
